airbags

    if i change the front seats that have airbags to seats that dont have airbags how do i get the airbag light to stay off and keep the rest of them working!

    all the seats still have the plugs underneath. wouldve thought it would go off if you plug it all in

    unless its a bucket

    there is a guid to fittin an aftermarket steering wheel the shows how to fit a resistor in the system to do what you want

    the gti seats dont have airbags though so why would there be a clip for it?

    i think he is. all the pre tensioner wires are the same for saxos i thought. you sure its not just 'plug&play' and the airbag light should hopefully be off

    no theres 3 wires on the vts seats, 1 for pretensioner, 2 for air bag but only one wire for the pretensioner on the gti seats. i need to relay the other 2 so the rest of the airbag system works and the light goes off

    in that case as said above you need to fit resistors to the plugs so that the airbag light goes off correctly

    where do i get them from? how do i go about fitting them?


    in the gti seat the pretensioner wire consists of 1 grey and 1 pink wire

    in the saxo floor the wires are blue and brown.

    which wires colour would go to the other???
