lambda sensor

   hi there my mates got a custom made manifold but it doesnt have a hole for the lambda sensor. would it be ok to run no sensor? my mates vtr just used alot more fuel and spit flames all the time. would it cause any damage to anything thanks

   all it will do is run rich and will use more fuel and wont ever pass an mot as CO emissions will be too high
