Do all 206 gti's have the same brakes?

Been looking on ebay for 206 gti brakes for my mk2 saxo and seen a couple of cars breaking, just wondering if the brakes where the same on all 206 gti's. Dont want to spend my money on the wrong stuff

IIRC there are a variety of different calipers & disc thickness'.

There is a sticky at the top of the page that explains it.

Also Gti 180 has larger brakes.

Ask what age car they come from, peugeot had a habit of just chucking together a parts bin special, like the 306's some had great fuel pumps and some had shit ones etc etc. its usually related to time of manufacture you might even find the older ones were better.. do some digging

if they come with pads then they are easily identifiable

pre 2001 and after 2001 are different discs iirc

so would i be better off looking for later gti's to scrounge the brakes off?

Well i have a mate used to work for peugeot and still gets staff discount so should get new pads and disks at a reasonable price. Going to see how little he can get brand new complete set up for me
