#3i think to fit a mk2 engine into a mk1 you will need part of the interior loom aswell as the whole engine loom.
-
#4i know it comes with clocks etc so i should also ask for interior loom?
-
#5yeah as the new clocks wont fit your loom behind the dash1 user thanked this post:

#6ok mate i will ask the guy about the interior loom do you or any one else know of other things i need to look out for?
-
#7not sure what exactly your getting with it but drive shafts may be different,i think the rad and hoses are different and the fuel pump might need changed.
-
#8ok mate i will ask to make sure i am getting all the parts needed if not i will search for them in for sale section
-
#9far easier to get the right engine to start with. if you insist on using this engine then the second easiest option is to get a mk1 ecu and loom to use with it
-
#10the hose from the heater matrix to the thermstat differs
top rad hose differs
fuel lines will need sorting for the return
shafts will be ok
nut thats without the added of it being the wrong loom
could rewire the multiplug youll need the fan loom and a few other bits
and swapping an interior loom requires a lot of effort (ive done it)
and if you wanna keep full interior will be a right pain1 user thanked this post: -
