Best Vts Exhaust??

    Hiya guys.

    In the next couple of months im converting my furio lump into a 16v lump. Basically i know i need a decat system and probally a manifold, but i want to know what exhaust will be the best for power and sound. i dont want just power or sound i want them both really.

    Any ideas will be greatfully appreciated.

    Im also on the look out for a mk2 vts engine, everything for a conversion. So if anyone has one....? Thanks

    depends on where your looking to go with the car? you want to cam it in the future? Turbo it in the future?

    Ideally I'd buy an exhaust to match the spec you want your car to be.

    Standard wise I'd go for a piper system, btb if looking for more power.

    I'd look to buy stainless if I was buying a new exhaust, it'll last then.

    in the future yeh maybe id cam it or if the engine i buy is already cammed thats a bonus. Whats btb like mate? ive got supersprint system on my furio atm and the centre pipe is actually for a vts. . but i dont know whether the supersprint system will be any good for the vts lol confusing

    yeh a supersprint will be fine for a vts !!

    A Btb is a bigger bore exhaust for the Saxo, they are rare and second hand are around £350 +

    Sounds like you'd be fine with a large variety of exhausts - magnex, piper and supersprint are the main ones.

    It's upto you which style tail pipe you want.

    yeh im not fussed about style or looks, just want one with a good sound and good performance. my mate has got a magnex on his and its very good. Another has a supersprint but i just want the best possible. Dont mind paying what it costs.
