Was thinking about painting my callipers red, would they been seen through VTR alloys?
And do I need to buy special paint ?

surely yeh? lol theres gaps in the alloys so im guessing you can see through them? lol,
just high temp paint i think (:

Yes you will see them,
get hammerite smooth in a tin from halfrauds
works a treat mate

you can see them but they need to be a bright red to be noticed really i done mine and iv just put back vtr rims on and u can see the very well

Do you have to use primer first before adding the paint? and what about laq?

no if you use the paint i suggested all you need to do is scrub and clean the calipers first.
No need to prime or laquer

no.as above just scrub with a wire brush thats what i did and then clean then paint

i used hammerrite on mine with vtr alloys was seen but not massivly, untill i swapped alloys to 5 spoke now i wish i did a better job.

Hammerite or caliper paint will suffice, don't use high temperature paint
