   Right after some new tyres to fit some 16x8 Mo's, would i be ok going 195 wide with a 40 profile???

   195/40 or 205/40
   
   205/40 will rub on full lock. And possibly in the rear arches.

   aslong as it clears the arch, and i dont hear *scrub,scrub* everytime i do so much as breath out, also its a black mk1, im thinking either get them powder coated black or white??? any suggestions????
