What calipers fit saxos

  1. #1
Ok theres loads of different calipers on new peugeots and citroen but what models will fit saxos.

    c4 and 307 have 283mm width & 26mm thick, and c2's have 266mm width & 22mm thick.
Will all these fit a saxo?

    pads & carriers needed too.
imo leave the back standard, its plenty good enough.
may as well get some braided hoses too and some fresh brake fluid.

Yep should fit longer front hoses to suit the caliper (i can supply) in stainless braided
make sure you get the yokes to fit the calipers if required

Where did you get furio wheels from, my car clearly has vts wheels on and also 283mm need grinding to fit under 15" and 266mm will fit under 14s.
    FAIL!!
Anyway thats not what im asking anyway im just trying to work out my options are caliperwise.

    Standard size is 247mm

Ok so total kit needed to fit standard C4 front brakes to a saxo VTR is as follows (please correct if i am wrong):

    1) calipers with pads.
    2) yokes? - someone please explain in more detail.
    3) Discs (283mm?)
    4) Longer braided hoses?

sorry once again but i want to learn more about it before i go parts rumaging

I think the yoke is just another term for the carrier, see this thread,
