straight cut gearbox

   what are the effects on getting your gearbox straight cut.wat does it do and does it make any difference.?expensive job?

   You can't make your gearbox straight cut - it refers to the angle of the teeth on the gear's and crown/pinion wheel - so would need all new bits to have a straight cut gearbox.
   
   Normal gearbox is fine on a 1.1

   new gearset would have to be made. More than your car would probably ever be worth.
