Stiffness problems :)

   not what you were thinking i bet
   
   anyways, my mate has a Y plate vtr and the gear changes are really really heavy. You have to almost hang off the stick to change between gears
   
   any ideas on problems or what can be done, or is this normal?

   its not normal mate,mine has just started doing it and i have been told its clutch clearence

   does it make any difference with the clutch press down to the floor and the engine off.

   i think you're going the right way, cammedvtr , the only thing i dont know whats the word in english
