group n discs and carbon lorraine pads

   hi im changing the brakes on my vtr and i was wondering if i can change the front and leave the back standard. Im getting carbon lorraine pads and group n disks from kam racing. Does any1 have these and are they any good?

   im sure u could why would u want to leave back standard, you get 4 disks in the set???

   you can buy everything separate. Its better to fit fronts first than the other way round

   i use standard discs and carbon lorraine rc6 (i think) pads on my racing saxo.they are great and have had no brake fade or warped discs.

   thanks people i might just get the full kit. My brakes are dreadfull and they have plenty of meat left is this how they are as standard?

   standard pads often can give little pedal feel and don't inspire confidence. Probably so they creep on smoothly to give a smooth transition and boring safe ride....
