quicky box on vtr

   is there much difference in vtr gearbox and a quicksilvers gear box as ive been given one and just wondered is it worth swapping over

   Pretty much the same - vtr is a 'sports' cluster with the 'sports' diff
   
   Ratios wise would be pretty much the same on the road - just watch out for driveshaft lengths due to the different diff size.

   i had 1 quicksilver box on before this one, (1.1 box).
   
   1.4 box definitely brought the ratios down, and the acceleration up over the VTR box.

   Only first n second are different. 1st gear u wont notice anything, second is shorter meanin 4mph less than a vtr box in second. The rest of the gears have the same speed.
