pools of water in the car !

   looks as though the black foam tuff behind the dash is sodden with water.
   
   So the sunroof must be leaking .
   
   Where do the sunroof drain pipes run ?

   same problem mate, reali would like to know how theres water dripping in from where the carpet is next to the fuse box under the dash ?? i found a 15mil puddle in the footwell and wasent happy lol

   Could be a leaking heater matrix.

   mine was leaking bad, went to breakers got the newest sunroof seal i could find off a 2000 reg car. took old 1 out cleaned where the seal sits which is important as it wont seal properly with dirt and shit in it. cleaned the new seal, fitted it got the hos on it for 5 mins and had a couple of small drips mainly from aierial but fixing that in the week. main advise make sure everything is nice and clean then fit a new seal

    i'd guess the sunroof, mine leaked like a bitch when i got it first, had to take the seats out to dry under the carpet it was soaking...bad buzz

    in the passenger footwell is probably the door seal. touch the carpet around the front bottom corner of the door seal and see if thats where. also my arial leaks so might get it coming in from there..

    i got the same leak in the driverside footwell. its happend over night one day and it just doesnt get wet it anymore lol, im not complaining just confused
    
    i just put the heaters on in my car to dry the floor up lol

    managed to have a go at fixing it !!!.... i bought a tube of tiger seal the other day and droped the roof lining and took out the seal and sunroof cleaned it all up like grime and dirt, and found out the drainage pipe above the passenger side was blocked so blew all the crap out and flushed it out the dryed everything and fitted it back togeather with the sealent and havent had 1 drip soooooooooo happy i tryed it and fixed it

    im going to try this, think my drainage pipe is blocked because there always seems to be a gathering of water in the front corner of the sunroof right over the passenger side, and the passenger side footwell is wheres being leeked onto lol!

    This is why you keep the sunroof drains clean to stop leaks in the car happening........

    i have the same problem , but have looked and cant find the drain plug for the sunroof , mine is a 2001 car , can any one tell me where it is .
    not sure if its leaking from there but have looked every where else , apart from the carpet , drivers side , nothing else is wet

    Pull the roof lining down at the front and you will see 2 rubber tubes in each corner

    hi thanks for that , have found them and they are clear
    so not sure how the water is getting in , apart from the carpet on the drivers side no where else is wet

    With the water being in the drivers footwell, i would look for signs of water around and above the stearing weel, if there are no signs id say the leak is below it and pull the carpet up where its wet and have a look around there, id say somewhere around that footwell.
