Tinted Windows - Scratch Marks

   hi im after gettin my vts saxo windows tinted and on the front to windows i got Scratch Marks im gettin my windows retinted on monday is there any way i can stop this from happinin again to my windows wen i get them redone can any one help me thanks

   Are the scratches on the glass or the tint film? My glass is slighty scratched and im planning on tinting mine too.

   theres a sticky on this i think
   you need to get clio (i think) bits that are at the bottom of the window/top of the door card.
   Crap explanation im tired will search for it for you

   Do places that do window tints remove them as well? My front two are scratched to hell

   As said you need to replace the trim that goes along the inside of the glass for one from another car (i cannot remember what lol) with a soft edge to stop it happening.

   ya its the film that is scratch and not the glass so how do i stop it from happin again

   as said mate, its the trim that runs against the inside ofthe glass. Iirc on a saxo its a hard piece or rubber which is why it scratches the tint.
   
   The ones you have to fit are much softer, i have a feeling you have to get them from a 106 but im not 100% sure.
   
   Any good tinting company should be able to tell you.

   you have to get the trim from a mk1 cilo think there is a guide on this
