Front Plate recess

    OH Hai Sax-p

Im wanting to get red of the plate recess in the front bumper. Now im quite confident in smoothing holes and going over bits but im really unsure in where to even start with this.
Want it too look good and follow the lines of the car. People that have had this done - anyone done it themselves? How did it go?

    Regards

I think you need a second bumper, so you can cut a section bumper strip off that, then cut out the number plate recess and fix the piece of bump strip in the plate recess' place.

Then smooth it in, would probably have to colour code the bump strip then to hide the filler and joins.

Had a feeling i would need another donor bumper to cut a section from. Seems the easiest way of doing it me thinks

Would have get the extra part plastic welded in place.
I have done it on my s16, roughd it up and drilled a few holes, then used expanding foam to fill the gap.
Trimmed and shaped it once dry then a very thin skim of filler to finish it off.
Then had all bump strips etc sprayd graphite grey
