on the 8 valve camshafts are there any markings to be aware of. i.e like a number.. if there was a number what would it mean?..i have a camshaft with a No.7 marked on it.. it was taken from a vtr grey top head

not sure mate, i use the kent cam pt3040k sport. i do know that there are two journal sizes on the grey top so make sure you get the correct one mate.

the roller type has different followers but they will fit in either.. but im not sure what difference there are in the journal sizes... im trying to find out!.

the roller rockers are probably already fitted to the later furio`s...but even if it is a non roller you can fit them!.

you need to know if you have the early 90bhp or the later 98bhp head, can be done by measurin the journals if you dont know

yeah, but i think one is bigger than the other, there should be a number on the head to identify it.
