my gearbox is leaking where the driveshaft meets it on the passengers side, could this just be a new oil seal that is needed? or new driveshaft? making a nice mess on the driveway atm mum and dad love it lol!

You will need a new oil seal my vtr leaked and got one for like 4quid and it sorted it. Just take the driveshaft out the gearbox prize the seal out and stick new one in............

there are £7 from citroen, easy to fit, an hour job it you no what u doing, undo hub nut and drop link and take out the staberliser screws and the drive shaft should just side out, remember to drain oil first tho or the hole drive be covered in oil

i took mine to a garage because it was leaking oil at the seal, he said just replace the whole shaft as the other seal looks worn.

only time i'd replace a shaft for an oil leak is if there was a groove worn on the shaft where the seal runs and to be honest i've never seen one that bad on a saxo, no other seals on the shaft unless he meant gaitors on shaft itself.
