Hmm, i am going on a track day and have kept my old cat (which failed emissions)- (vts so cat after manifold.. probe comes before it so no effect i dont think)... anyway, i got a steel rod from b and q for £2- hammered it through again and again and eventully I got a straight through pipe.
Decat systems seem to gain around .4 sec 0-60, so it should be noticable. I am very familiar with my old VTS so will be interesting.

If you sleeve the lamba sensor, and tie wrap it somewhere it can read clean air, There will be no light.
However IMO it doesn't make much difference. I de-catted mine, and don't even have 1 lamba sensor plugged in. No over-fueling as of yet.
