Suspension kit

Im having the 50mm Suspension kit next month, and was wondering what you get for the front? Obviously springs and dampers, but is the damper a whole unit, where i remove the standard strut and the new kit goes straight in? Or do i have to remove the damper from the strut, and put the new one in? If so, how do you get the damper out?

    Cheers

Hi, the damper unit fits down the 'leg' of the suspension strut. You will have to remove the old damper from the 'leg' of the suspension strut, this can be a bit of a ball ache, but i managed to get mine out with mole grips and patience.

If you look in the 'search' bit there are a few good guides of how to do it.

The one bit of advise that i would give is to prepare well for the job. E.g. get the right tools, lots of WD40 and be patient.
