Hi, after much searching on here and not finding anything like the noise i have so .....

have got a 1.1 v-reg saxo done about 76k have had the car for a couple of years and not missed a beat but recently have heard a drive shaft type knock/clicking coming from the o/s/f wheel area when cornering to the right at aprox 30mph +, so changed both driveshafts for new units and noise still there, checked the gearbox oil and is nice and clean ish as ready via searching that diff's tend to knock,
Have gone over suspension and found no play in anything,

the car drives fine in a straight line and has no wheel wobble etc only knocks on right hand lock at above 30mph+

the only other thing that i have found is that the car tends to warp the o/s/f disc every 6 months or so

    very strang i think

    any help would be great

    thanks
    Tony

Sounds to me like it could be wheel bearing.

yep changed complete driveshaft brand new so know there good,

have checked the wheel bearings and found no play up, down and side to side etc and no noise, dont suppose anyone knows if the bearings are the needle roller type or normal ball and cage? maybe got a roller/ball out of shape?

    They're ball and cage.
