    Hi Sax-p,

I am a total noob in engines but I am learning!
So I need you to show me where would aftermarket induction kit plug to? Which exactly part I take off:

I can see where the actual filter is, but then on top of it some strange looking kinda box with 2 plugs and the hose from rocker cover, which I dont know what they are.
So please tell me what would come off and where, and would there be any problems with those unplugged wires.... I have a though that they are some sort of sensors, but not sure

    Please help guys, thanks!

depends if you have a kit designed for the spi motor or a universal kit tbh

I would think a universal? Something like K&N... I am just planning on about induction and though about where the hell it will go.

    Thanks.

Also, can someone explain how would I fit panel filter? As I understand its a replacement for original, but I think I have round kinda cone filter?

    Thanks guys.

    Anyone?

right basically on the spi your limited to 2 options

1 is to get like a k&n for your car (which tbh wont do much and ends up in a very bad spot for heat soak as you literally remove the entire inlet system and it just goes over the throttle body itself
or if you get something like a universal kit then youll need a 90 degree silicon hoes and that will go where your airbox atatches to the chamber above your tb then fit the kit to that (if its just an open filter you can put it directly on the chamber but it will get nothing but hot air and probably loose you power tbh

the spi is really not the best engine to modify tbh

I am not after modding it or making more horse power out of it, I just want it to run nice, therefore I have read few threads and most said just to get a green panel filter.
Me thinking it is possible to get green cone like filter to change my standart? Without any aftermarket induction kits, just the filter it self.

    Thanks a lot

best bet in that case is to look for a replacemnt filter
i doubt you will find a green but ther might be an option for a k&n or something in standard fitment as im sure the s2 106 rallye ahs the same filter chamber and oval filter

however a panel filter ect is out the window

even just a new basic filter makes a difference sometimes

Okey, thanks for help. In this case will have to go and get normal replacement from wilco or somewhere else.

    Thanks again
