   Hi is it legal to have the jet washer neons on when you driving at night?
   
   And to have audi style spotlights on your headlights when driving at night?
   
   Ive seen a couple of saxo with them on just want to clarify it ok before i do the same

   audi style lights are legal, or else audis couldnt use them..
   
   as long as the washers are white lights you can argue there legal due to the fact you can only show a white light to the front of the car and red at the rear..

   i have them too, just didnt wire them up, wanted the chrome ones rather than the stock black.

   Ah right nice one however mine are blue. Meaning im not going to get away with them. Ill get white ones. I think neon jet washers and led spotlights look good on a saxo, however thats my opinion it doesnt make the car chavvy as its a small feature

    Why do people slate what somebody else wants to do with there cars ???? The chap has earned the money he may do what he wants with it and should be able to without having every member say how shit the idea is. No body has the same opinions on everything and having an individual car is what modding is all about. Not stripping it out all the time and following like sheep.

    If you want to do that to your car mate, do it.
    And I'm sure the neon washer jets are legal, if they are blue you might get some hassel from the old bill though. Audi lights are ok I think too.

    I'm pretty sure it's ilegal to have any Neon's on outside the car, I think inside it's okey as long as you can't see the actual Neon, only the glow.

    Thanks guys i really apprishiate what you said there for a minute i was thinking of scrapping the idea but youve got me wanting to do it again, your right too there are alot of twats on here that slater other peoples ideas. Its because they cant think of idea's for themselves. You are right like they do copy like sheep, if that was the case with everyone modifing would be boring cos it would be like oh that saxo looks the same as that other saxo......

    Dont ditch the washer jet idea keep it. i have green/blue tinted side light bulbs and i have no problems with the old bill. and i only live up the road from the cop shop lol.

    Even still mate its not worth the chance of one nob copper who wants brownie points for finding anything wrong with your car, even still cant affort any points on licence as im only 19 and in second year driving, if i get white ones instead of blue i have better chances of not getting bothered bt coppers

    Cant get points for wrong coloured lights just told to change them thats all they can do.

    True to a point. However if there distracting to the driver or other road users they are can be considered illegal. All it takes is a Police officer not to like them and then there effectively illegal. There are many modifications that fall in to this sort of category as the law comes down to a opinion. So say a police officer thinks there to bright or that you can see them from inside the car or anything like that and you have not got a leg to stand on if you do get pulled. But then you just take them off so its not really a problem.
