Missfiring

   Right been having a bit of trouble with my car missfiring lately, i would be driving along all is fine but then as i go up the reve range i would hit a point where the car would loose its power, not all but most of it. The noise the car will then change tone and it starts to missfire. So my problem is intermitent. Ive changed the coil pack and the spark plugs now, what else could it be a sensor ?
   
   I have no engine managment lights on but there is an obvious problem.

   Is the engine cutting out at all or just losing power?

   just loosing power, the car will travel along but there is a lack of power
