Will 1.1 106 engine fit my 1.4 saxo?

    the head gasket has went on my saxo, its 1998 with 105k miles on it, 1.4. the 106 engine has 35k miles and it 2001 its also 1.1. only reason im putting a smaller engine in is cuz im gettin it cheap and off a mate so i know its in good condition.


    The saxo bodywork and everything alse about the wee car is immaculaye, there is hardly a scrape on it and no rust at all.

    just lookin a bit of advice as im not that familier round engines

    I'd think it would fit, The cars are pretty much the same the only thing I'd think might cause a problem is Engine mounts might be slightly out.
