   sorry for spamming the hell out of this section recently
   
   
   Anyway got a knock coming from the front when changing gear so went to investigate.
   
   Should you be able to move the disk/hub like this and it to make these noises?
   
   Second noise is the fact that its in gear and thats as far as it goes

   looks like it's just play inside the gearbox - dont think its anything to worry about tbh.

   Have a look at exhaust, see if its knocking on anything.

    are you not just rotating the disc, which infact; the driveshaft. Which rotates like that anyway.

    bearings then, check the cv boot, is there grease everywhere? If there is, the joint will be dry and stiff. Therefore broken and mot failure.
