Not a saxo (Mk4 Golf) Grinding/Buzzing Noise at high revs

  1. #1
I was going down a country lane earlier, pulled over onto the grass a little bit to get around a horse (was doing around 5-10 at the most).
Front wheel (Right side) Went in a pot hole and knocked the bit above the wheel of plasticy bit (Think its a mudguard ?).
Anyway since then when i get to high revs 4000+ in 2nd it sort of makes a buzzing noise, It also does the same in 3rd ?
Not sure if this is a result of the pot hole or not ... And I dont drive around doing 5000+ revs before you say something, I was late changing gear and noticed.
    Hope some can help

youll probably just find you've snapped a clip on this 'plasticy bit' and its vibrating when the cars engine vibration meets a certain resonance..

Just took it to the shop, And the noise seems to be coming from the back.. Any idea what it could be ?
I'll double check to make sure it isnt abit of the mudgard on the front vibrating and my hears just fucked lol
If my hearings right though what sort of problems could this be if the noise is coming from the back ?

exhaust rattling and touching the cars body causing vibration?
