would i benefit from anything using a s1 rallye inlet on my early silvertop vtr?
rallye inlet on vtr turbo

#2yes as they are bigger than the standard inlet and made of aluminium so give a nice sound and allow you to use more wild cams (i think what i have gathered from readling about them)
hard to get running sweet though on idle but its not impossible some people have no problems some have loads its just the luck of the draw -
#3im not going to be using bigger cams or anything tho im turboing my vtr so will just wondering if i would benefit from it or not
-
#4you don't really wana run a 'wild' cam on a turbo car with a large duration. IMO stick with a standard cam.
I think it'd be a worth upgrade as can run more boost, but if you're not looking to run a large amount of boost might be easier to spend your £££ on better parts that matter. -
#5if you was really going for it could try find yourself a c2 vts inlet like this

alot of turbo people run them -
#6i got a vtr mate not vts, cheers anyway
-
#7No benefit for you really mate as the standard seems to handle enough boost, but if you can find one cheap enough and give it a nice polish up it will make your bay look lush with the turbo pipes.
-
#8don't do it biggest arsehole to get running right 100% no hiccups on standard management
-
#9ok guys cheers for comments
-
#10how about if your going standalone?
Is it ok then?? -
#11karl be fine if you do but on standard ecu yes it will run and go ok ish but the annoying things will piss you off no end
-
#12mines on no probs on standard ecu now had a fuck on getting it runing right as it was drawing in air but once that was sorted its not a prob at all, debating wether to polich mine up to go with boost pipes and a polished rocker or to paint it and rocker renaultsport liquid yellow and sand back the top of raised sections and polish them up, think ill go for the latter tbh with a whitle yellow bay theme???
