momo gear gaiter

    ive just got a momo gear gaiter and was wondering what way would be best to fit it? would i do better to use the original surround and cut slots into the gaiter or get an aftermarket surround and screw it into the console? (im not overkeen on chrome so it would be t-cut or painted black)
