new engine

   hi guys
   i was thinking about getting a new engine, i have a westy and was thinking of a vtr engine as i already have a vtr shell.
   what i'm not sure off is, do you have to inform the insurance company, would it still be classed as westcoast or not?
   sounds stupid, but it will still be described as a westcoast in all the documentation i have. lol

   it will be described and insurable as a westcoast....untill you make a claim at which point you will be rather shafted. That kind of thing has to be sorted, and you will obviously have to insure it as a VTR. As always it is up to you but not telling them will be as good as having no insurance whatsoever

   You will have to insure it as a Westcoast with a VTR engine conversion. Will most prob be very hard to insure!
