    Ask your mate.
  3. #3
    thats why he sold it
  4. #4
Sooooo he bought a car without knowing the code?

This all seems dodgy to me tbh.
  5. #5
try go to citreon mate be ur best bet tbh.
  6. #6
i have been to them but they said they cand do anything bcz wen the car was bought the owner changed the code from being the stock 5555 pin to something else, so i didnt know if it could be bypassed or somethin ??
  7. #7
hmm...thats a hard one maybe theres like a universal code to get through if u forget ur own pin type thing .....thats not good tbh mate
  8. #8
Of course Citroen can reset it.

Tbh, everything about this thread is dodgy to me, yes it can be bypassed, but I doubt anyone on here will tell you how to do so.

the car cost me 85 quid bcz the lad was stripping it to respray it and then ran out of funds after goin on a trip to the usa. so my old man bought it from his, but we dont know the code, how does that seem dodgy? all i was doing was askin a question

You've just joined at 2am and are asking about how to bypass a immobiliser, You must get the point how this seems dodgy as fuck.

He thinks your trying to rob a car dude.

I cant think of a cheap way of doing it easily. Best option I can give is to get the ECU unlocked, this should allow you to run the engine without the immobilser pad. Its advisable to get an alarm if you do that though as your cars completely unprotected to thieves then.

PM RyanMT. He unlocks ECUs and is generally shit hot with autoelectrics. Hes on holiday at the moment but he'll answer you as soon as he can Im sure

thanks bud, im plannin on using the car for track days as i only live down the road form thruxton. i also just got told a 106 ecu might work ??
  21. #21
Sounds good mate, absolute bargain price too if thats the only problem it has.

A 106 ECU would work if it was unlocked, or if it came with the rest of that cars immobilser system which is just the code unit as far as Im aware, possibly an Immobilser box behind the dash, which the later models have. I doubt it though, as Ive heard many times that the keypad system is electronically basic.

well we have a 106 xr ?? or something thet we have sold but i managed to rob the ecu befor it went as spares but im a bit lost with it all tbh, yer its all there, lowered, flushed bootlid, smoothed bodywork, stripped interior but the lad just couldnt afford 700 quid for the respray after his trip,
