Upper strut brace?

    Is there any point in getting an upper strut brace? i do like the look but will it be worth the money?

    iv hurd that if you just put one on the front it can increase understreer but dont know how true that is?????

    By putting any strut brace on your car it will reduce body roll and increase your handling

    yes, although last time i checked saxo's dont have a rear strut system thus making it challenging to connect a strut brace.

    I dont want to make it more dangerous that what it already is ha, so it is worth it? if its going to be more dangerous then there isnt no point

    yes its worth it, it won't make it more dangerous it will make the handling better

    The lower one improves handling more, but can cause grounding issues if you car is lower and depending where/how you drive. Upper one does look good as well as stiffening verything up a bit

    they look really good but i think most people believe they are going to suddenly stiffen up dramatically. i also think the problem is people don't push their car enough to feel the difference that's why some people say they pointless.
    i fitted a momo strut brace after being skeptical and found when pushing on the limit it pushes down on the front more so you get less roll and understeer than if it was to not be on. want one for the back now. definately nice engine bling tho.

    But if you crash one side the strut brace would also damage other side...
    Correct me if I am wrong though

    most people will not notice a difference but it does not mean its not doing anything. When I was doing some testing back to back with a friend, we found the car struggled more for grip off roundabouts without the strutbrace. Simply the strutbrace helped control camber changes in the suspension, aiding traction. Its a subtle change but he thought it was worth enough to buy it

    Well my 1.1 is just to test things for when i get a VTR do love me car atm but its just gona to get replaced with a VTR soon enough

    If the crash is bad enough to bent one side then it's irrelevant what the other side does as it'll be a write-off anyway!!

    I remember someone on this forum said that they had a little crash on the side and if he dident have a strut brace it would be just some body work, but because he had a strut brace it was some other side damage too.
    I would want a strut brace anyway though
