vts idle problem

   hi as it says above i have a idle problem on my vts. i have recently put this engine into my vtr and plumbed the fuel return line in and runs mint when cold.
   
   the problem is when its warmed up the idle becomes very lumpy and sometimes stalles. and around 2k revs it dies 4 a split second then comes back again. i have replaced plugs, coil pack and have cleaned the tps and icv.
   
   any help as it is doing my head in now.

   Mine was like this. I cleaned the ICV and everything else - no diff. Changed the ICV sorted.
   Not saying a new one will sort yours, just pointing out that cleaning doesn't always mean its ok...............

   i have a brand new gunine citreon ICV that i can sell you if you want that,
   
   also it could be the lamdba sensor, as mine was doing it and my lamdba sensor was fualt!!

   cheers for the reply i have been told it could be the coolant temp sensor aswell??? how much you want 4 the sensor mate?

   well the ICV from citreon is 117 quid, so would look for 45-50 posted to yours
   
   also it can be the coolent temp sensor that is about 10 quid from citreon!

   its the coolant temp sensor ive just done this to mine and it sorted it

   av gt a coolant temp sensor on order a get it tomorrow. if tht doesnt work a fink al have tht sensor off ya m8. all let you know by tomorro pal

   idle valve mate clean her up and she will be fine pm if you get stuck cheers

    thts 4 the 8vs aint it m8. and mines gt a new coil pack on when i put the engine in... well hopefully the coolant temp sensor will fix it 2morro... al keep use updated

    well fitted the new coolant temp and now is spot on! thanx 4 the help guys
