brake upgrade on 1.1

   was thinking of upgrading my brakes on a 1.1 eastocast but would i have to change the hoses or anything.wasthinking of 106 xsi front brakes,vts brakes,or ax gt brakes.wat can i do

   you can pretty much fit whatever calipers you want providing your wheels are big enough for some

   is an eastcoast a mk1 or mk2?
   
   is your car 3 stud or 4?
   
   if its 3 then you cant do much at all, you would have to either convert to 4 stud or play with a drill on the strut iirc

   ah fuck 3 stud i got.i thought u cld just change the discs and callipers.didnt think the stud wld do much tbh as its part of the hub.awel.fuck it

   We can do you a set of grooved discs, and uprated pads. That should do the trick.

   some of the later 3 studs you can fit larger calipers
   
   but the early ones like you have the bolts in the caliper itself are a different size
   
   and even if you had the later type you need to modify the disc (so that it fits the 3 stud pattern
   and also due to the difference in centre bore youll need a spacer to keep the disc concentric to the hub
   
   guy on here did that on his 106 but as said its the later type

   If you get some vtr/vts calipers, we can make the 4 stud disc into a 3 stud one for you.
