thanks i was like wtf ?!?! lol but didnt want to say hehe
  40. #40
    They look shit.

In my opinion obviously. No disrespect to anyones car. They dont suit the lines of the Spaxo, and Ive never liked the way they just stop at the end of the window. Obviously they have too but it looks awkward
  41. #41
i find they suit some cars but not all
  42. #42
Right well they arrived today. They are good quality and fit real easy. Problem is though, i didn't get any pics as it was dark when i fitted them.

I think they are goin to be abit lie marmite. Either u love em or you hate em. I'll try clean the car saturday if its not raining and get some fitted pics isn't up after
  43. #43
my car came with them and took them of to see what its like and in my opinion they make th car look alot better and fit well
  44. #44
Ben you going to The Bear down in Stock on Saturday? I think rem wants to get everybody out once more lol /hijack

think they will be marmite as you said. cant say ive seen many saxos with them on to know if they look ok.

That looks niiiice. Love those OZ rims :-)

I got the Team Heko ones. I'm very pleased with the quality. Takes a little bit of getting used to when looking out the window now lol. Feels like looking out an aeroplane window lol. Well maybe not quite that extreme. Cant wait to see mine in the day light...

I think they should look good on yours as judging by your pic, you have a blue car with black bumpers so should be a nice contrast and break the car up a bit

    I'd go for it.

I'm going to order some for my GTI, and it seems the HEKO ones are the ones for choice. How do these fit on guys and girls?

    Andy
  61. #61
they do suit your car ,so its all good

I may get some, they would be smoked though, unless i colourcode them, but ithink if i colourcode them they would be a bit too much, smoked could be a bit more subtle
  63. #63
I think I'll pick up a set after reading this thread.
  64. #64
didn't realise what these were until i read the thread, they look good i might have a look myself on good ol' Ebay
  65. #65
they fit by going in the slot where the window goes.
  66. #66
think i may have to invest in a set, probably just the ebay "heko" ones
  67. #67
team heko ones fit well fitted mine yesterday.
  68. #68
which are better heko or the cirtoen ones? and do they just push into the slot and thats it or?
  69. #69
They dont look nice imo but its your car, so as long as you like it

i love it mate, sooooo much different to the sax
    feels much comfier/safer

also i went from a 1.1 to a 1.4 16v so felt quite a bit of difference in power and speed.

tbh though i think about buying a vtr everyday, miss my saxo soooooo much!
  71. #71
do you use addhesive to hold them on? or do they hold themselves on?
  72. #72
They just slot in behind the mirror and the door seal

    I love them

    I love them
my mate has some on his civic and he uses adhesive to hold them in as he said they can fly off when your going 80mph+
  74. #74
haha fall off at 80. ive done well into triple figures and they wont come off, your mate must of snapped them or something... literally 2 seconds to fit. get the team Heko ones and they're already pretty smoked if u look at my pic i posted on page 3.

na they arent snapped, maybe its cos they slope more on a civic.
  76. #76
5 of me mates have civics, all with wind deflectors, not one has snapped, fell off or broke in anyway lol there fookin mega lad get some.
  77. #77
i'm going to say something really dumb...can you still open the window with them on?
  78. #78
yes luke, apparantly they're ideal for smokers as you can have the window open and it doesnt blow ash everywhere. Essentially, that's the idea of having w/deflectors..so you can have your window down, without being blown about inside at high speeds

Yep, its like poor mans air con. Very good for me, great having a fag without having a pile of ash on the parcel shelf that gets blown back. nice one the motorway getting 'fresh' air without getting the wind scuttling noise blowing you to bits
  82. #82
i have the ebay jobs on my mk2 vtr i love them looks really good
  83. #83
Right finally got the internets working! Pictures are on their way...watch this space
  84. #84
    bout time ben
  85. #85
lol...its taken me since saturday to get the damn thing clean lol
  86. #86
Well here they are. I wasn't sure if i liked them when i first put them on as it was dark I couldn't see properly... Now the cars clean and a can see them i like them alot Worth £30 delivered for sure - A simple solution to Rainy days fresh air !

They litterally just slide into place. The window still goes up and down no problem and they are a really really good tight fit.

  87. #87
Anybody know what its like when it comes to cleaning the car?
  88. #88
not too bad. bit annoying with water marks though
  89. #89
Can you whip it off, clean car and put it back on? Just another awkward shape to clean around.
  90. #90
You can do but you risk it snapping everytime. Its not too bad tbh mate. I just wound windows down abit and wiped the tops then wiped the lower half after. Then also wiped the deflector while window was open. Easy peasy :-)

  92. #92
i want a set of the HECO ones but having trouble finding them
  93. #93
Just got a pair of these off ebay, accidently snapped the feckers £30 bloody wasted !!
Dont know what i was doing wrong like, the window wouldnt go up fully just got jammed about an inch from the top....well annoyed now like
