   hi i have a 1999 westcoast and i was wondering what i could do to make the car look nicer.
   obviously i cant do anything that would change the insurance, , but i would like some ideas on subtle things that could make the car more pleasing to look at. Interior and exterior.

   t cut rear badges
   colour code/mesh the front grille
   put vtr or s interior in
   colour code centre console door cards etc
   maybe tint rear lights
   colour code / tint front lights
   depending on condition of the wheels could refurb them and spray them a nice colour
   could change the dash lighting make that look nicer

   What color is the car?
   
   You could get it lowered 50mm
   Get new alloys, depending on the color of the car VTS alloys in black or white looks really nice
   Get your rear windows and rear screen tinted
   Get smoked headlights and rear lights
   Get a vtr mk1 spoiler
   106 gti half leather interior which fits straight in a saxo
   Saxperience stickers on your rear windows
   I have a black sun strip on my silver vtr mk2 with white letters saying Saxo VTR which looks really nice. I got it on ebay and you can have whatever you like written on it.
   Get a nice steering wheel maybe? I got a citroen racing steering wheel on ebay which is smaller in diameter than the standard saxo steering wheel and feels much nicer to drive.
   
   Theres a lot you can do to your car mate. If you can post a picture of it I will gladly try to give you some more ideas.

   Car is looking very tidy indeed mate. I would get the VTR alloys sprayed in grey or black also I very much doubt lowering will get your insurance premium up. Maybe give them a call and ask?

    try some vts alloys they look nicer imo and there standard saxo alloys so dout they would notice...but if not then the vtr alloys would look mint in anthracite or black tbh
    
    and the badges its personal choice the badges do leave holes in teh boot lid so t cutting or painting is the easy option really..
    
    color code bumpers and black strips / paint gloss black which ever your prefernce
    
    and the sun strip imo they can look abit to tacky but again its personal choice its your car but you have to be careful with them as if there to big they can fail the mot i believe

    i checked with the insurance and lowering would increase my policy. plus with direct line i cant have mods until i am 21 only with them for the huge discount i get from my whole family being with them, does save alot of money.
    
    in regards to t-cutting the badges, i can do it with them still on the car cant i?
    
    also where can i find the mirror caps?

    It makes your job much easier if you remove the badges to t-cut them, you dont want t-cut ruining your car paint job.
    
    As for mirror caps you can always find them on ebay, or scrappy.
    
    And yeah mate, thats the alloys. They look really nice on a silver car, here is an example..

    You can probably find mirror caps at a scrap yard mate.
    
    Also you can get your VTR alloys sprayed for £50 or do it yourself there are a couple of guides on here on how to do it.
    
    Also if you do get black alloys, get your rear windows and rear screen tinted black and your car will look awesome.
    
    If you are looking to get an air filter get Green. They sound nice and give you an extra 3 - 4 bhp which is good.
