Hi All, I can't afford alloys at the moment. So where can I buy new hubcaps for my 4-bolt steels on my new 2002 Desire? The three remaining ones are rubbish.

+1 if you look around you will find some alloys. if you can't, take all the hubcaps off and go for the steelie look

Where can I get alloys for that price? Also, I've looked on Ebay for hubcaps with no results.

i got a set of vtr alloys from someone off here for £65 with tyres. You wont be able to access the for sale section yet, so either pay for a premium membership or wait till youve got 100 posts. best bet for cheap alloys will be off here tbh. Or go to a breakers yard or something.

As said before, hubcaps are wank mate. Save up for cheap VTR alloys. What color is your car? Depending on the color you could get them sprayed black or white for £30 - £50.

How much do you think a breakers yard would charge for a set of 4 VTR alloys with 4 good tires?

I've just checked at Citroen for the genuine articles and they're £20 each. They must be joking!

I got mine scuffed to hell on ebay for practically nothing. I repaired them and resprayed (which i was going to do anyway) and now they're almost perfect. Cost me about £60 all in.

I know we`re trying to get away from hubcaps but I went on ebay today there is a guy on there selling alloy(not coated onto plastic)trims which fix onto your wheels using your wheel bolts. They look pretty good for hubcaps they were £20.00 plus £8.00 p+p.You could always get a set & spray them up.
