how to get black trim back to black

the black trim on the bumpers and allong the side of my saxo have been sprayed silver with a spray can by the previous owner,

whats the best way to get them back to black ?

sand down and paint them matt black ? (spray can)

or is there a better way ? and is it actualy matt black or gloss ? or somthing else ?

advice please lol

You can buy black plastic trim paint from halfords.
It's like a satin black vinyl paint. It wont look exactly like factory, but it'll look pretty similar.

so a can of black spray paint wont do the job ? was hoping the same stuff would do my alloys at same time as they desperatly need a refurb.

actualy i recall seeing a product that restores the original black its like a black spray with bits in, will nip into local paint shop i think just hope this wont cost me an arm and a leg

The stuff from halfords is only like 6/7 quid a can i think.
It gives a satin slightly textured finish. Matt black spray will probably look too flat.
You could always go them gloss black?

wouldnt that look dodgy ?

still dont know what colour to do my wheels tbh, car is silver want to be diffrent but really i was thinking just spray em black for now and sort the bumper trim out.

I would deffinately say use the Halfords Bumper Spray mate. Would look better than matt black

got VTR wheels mate they in crappy condition need refurb,

but i was thinking of somthing diffrent dunno what to do hense was thinkin just spray em black for now . .

I got black VTR rims on mine atm. They also need a refurb...

I think if you're going down the smoked route.. with smoked lights they look pretty good...
I was going to repaint mine silver.. but now i've seen them on the car they're going gloss black again

Black TD 1.2s look good on silver cars

yeh i want a set of 1.2's wen i get the cash would be more liking the white tbh,and no not down smoked route really front end has verry chrome angel eyes.

and i want somthing diffrent there's a few mk2's round mine silver black rims mines a mk1 but yeah want somthing diffrent il just paint them pink tbh lmfao nah i duno would like summit diffrent

As said, get the stuff from halfords mate its cheap and effective. I used it on mine and it looks pretty good.
