AIRBAG lights flashing..

   i recently changed my standard vtr interior for a gti half leather..
   
   the airbag lights flashing, is there anyway of fixing this? without taking the bulb out? or taping over it?

   Wouldnt worry about it m8, its not a mot fail. If its bothering you that much you could do as you said and take the clocks out and tape over it.

   i had the light for over a year flashing when i put gti interior in. try unbolting the pretensioners from your old seats and swap them round , so the system thinks you plugged in the old seats.
   
   failing this (like i did ) just solder a 2ohm resistor (like 16p from maplins) to the ends of the wires coming from the floor. this way, your pretensioners wont work but your airbag will (better than having your airbag light flashing where nothing will work in a crash)

   i had this just a few weks back,just snip the wires either side of the connector under the seat and solder them together some heatshrink over the new joins and voila no flasy lights
