lowering costs?

    alright guys just wondering how much i should be looking at to get my VTR lowered around 40mm? how much is a reasonable price for a garage to fit new front springs and set the torsion bar to match?

    i paided to get my spings fitted and bar to match £120 and i got the springs from somewhere else.

    i paid 100 to get everthing fitted and adjsuted

    paid 200 for suspension kit

    i was quoted £150 today but thought that was a bit steep, especially if im getting the springs myself?

    cheers lads, ill see if i can get his price down a bit or ask him to provide the springs. im not gonna bother with new shocks as im only going down 40mm, unless the ride is totally wank then i'll re-consider.

    im down 50 and went for new shocks, thought i may as well, idnever jsut get springs

    150 is still ok really

    do you reckon there is a massive difference in ride quality between just springs and shocks aswell? i mean like 150 odd quids worth of difference?

    I normally charge £40 front £40 rear ......i must have done 40-50 cars by now a few are regulars on here like MrHush & Saxokitney

    I have some 40mm springs for sale

    I paid £120 to have mine lowered. Lowering kits/springs/shocks, etc... are all on top.
