#7I can't view your thread but P38 body filler. Or as samwyard off TalkAudio did with his 106 ones, mix the bodyfiller 5:1 P38:Resin witht he normal amounts of hardener for each, this allows you to brush it on

I've never tried this so i'd personally whip up some P38, skim them, sand it, then keep skimming it till its mostly flat, then mix up a small bit and touch in the defects
How perfect it needs to be depends on how your trimming it. Minor marks won't show up part leather and acoustic carpet, but they will in paint

#9Will be trimming in faux lether or acoustic carpet. what about the wooden ring on the top? just build up the filler around it?Quote:I can't view your thread but P38 body filler. #14when i made mine i did 3 layers of fibreglass on each side and 1 or 2 on top of the mdf ring
then i mixed up p38 bodyfiller in the normal way and just slapped a bit on, let it dry, used an electric sander to get the tougher lumps off then used wet and dry to smooth them off.
then another layer of filler if it needs it, then brush on alot of hardener and leave to dry
