dying seats?

  1. #1
lets face it, the squares and triangles design on the VTR interior is pretty poor.

would it be possible to dye the seats all black?
if so, would this rub off onto your clothes?

    thanks.

could turn out horribly wrong i don't know :s

i wouldnlt have thought whatever dye u use would completely cover the squares think you;'d still see them faintly. and would prob need to be left to dry for a really long time and would prob wipe off a lill each time till the colour has settled

I'd say its not a good idea. Just get the seats re-trimmed.

i was trying to avoid mega money. if i was to spend that much i would get some gti half leathers.

    cheers for the replys lads.

omg them seat covers are shockingly bad. surely any standard seat are better than seatcovers. i'd rather sit on the floor
  24. #24
I would rather a standard vtr interior/seats than retarded looking dyed black seats.

loool i have dyed my seats various times with varous things ( spray cans, granul dye..the list goes on) and all it done was make the weird squares go dark gray and made my clothes go black (N) so im buing new bucket seats for front and getting back retrimmed
