Dodgy side repeater

   Hi all,
   
   I got my new silver side repeater 501 bulbs today for my GTI and proceeded to fitting them and found out that my drivers side one has a very dodgy connection and the bulb only worked when i pulled it out slightly but of course the casing wouldn't fit back on then.
   
   Any idea what this could be?
   
   Would it be the holder that it clips into?
   
   If so, anyone got one they fancy sending me for the cost of postage?

   try bending one of the wires thats on the bulb over to the other side..
   i had the same fault on the passenger side did that and it worked fine

   Wires on the bulb? It's a 501 bulb like this unless you mean the tiny bits of metal on the bulb?:

   yeah those tiny bits..
   bend one over so you have both on one side and try re fit it..
   this fixed my dodgy connection last weekend,
   be careful tho there only thin!
