Spoiler: Gloss Black or Colour coded

  1. #1
I have an Arctic steel Desire and ive just bought the Mk2 spoiler, its going to be refurbished anyway and i was wondering what colour i should do it. I have gloss black wheels if that helps.

    Cheers

Gloss black I got a MK2 glossy black spoiler to go with all of the other black Looks alot better than colour coded imo.

if all you have is black wheels then just get colour coded, will look tacky if its the only black up top.

if you had black side trims then i would say yeah go for black..but you dont lol

colour code it imo - unless you're going to do the roof black as well i think it'll look weird

The black looks good on blue, but im thinking about resale value and halfords paint! lol Last time i used it arctic steel looked more like gold! If i can get a good colour match its going to be colour coded but im still thinking money =/

Tbh gloss black goes with most colours and will look more custom, but im unsure about what i want my car to look like, besides it would be a pain in the ass to respray the spoiler when i come to sell it. If i can get the correct colour its arctic steel

    gloss black mate

If you dont fancy painting it,try using some vinyl(worth a try),,my roof is all vinyl,,or just get/swap for a black spoiler.

color code it, use hycote aint the match will be good. black will look daft as its the only black above the wheels

    Colour code ftw

Go for the black. If you cover it in vinyl it will be different and if you vinyl the roof black no need to worry about resale value as it is easy to remove.

Nice idea that actually. What kinda price am i looking at for the roof and spoiler to be done in viynl?

Just to give you an idea i was quoted about £90 to respray my grill and spoiler then fit it. Seens how colour matching is such a pain in the ass black mabey an easy option.
