you dont need a remap for those mods, id say bhp 103+-1 or 2

So wot can i do to get more BHP ???

Does the flywheel make any difference ???

I've got poor fuel ecomomy could any of these things ive had done effect them.

The lamba sensor which was orignally in the top of the old manifold is now in the manifold and the one which went to the bottom orignally is now just in an area where their is plenty of warm air.
Or should i have a GMC sleeve on it.

I hear different stories about difrent things.

    CONFUSED

No the light aint on but it does work as it comes on jus b4 i start the engine. i using super unleaded an its making no difference hardly for the extra money. What else can it be ???

when you begin to mod your engine you will noticed fuel economy becomin less econimical, thus because you are changing standard parts to say bigger parts/ open parts which increase BHP. i have a manifold and bmc on my vtr and the air filter alone was drianin a noticeable amount of petrol.

I'm thinking of doin the same sorts of mods to my vtr, but I'm concerned about the MOT with the manifold and full system etc! Will it pass?
  11. #11
only if you put your genuine manifold back on mate. well saying that scott's saxo passed mot without a cat.

I was looking at getting cams for my VTR MK2 and lowering it 40mm with air filter and full system fitted from a company they wanted a total of £1500 i could insurance a FTO for that amount what else is out there for less money

    cam: 400 ?
lowering 40mm including springs: 200 MAX
    fullsystem 300

they must be charging "interesting" labour rates

gonna say you may aswell have a go yourself for that price! my lowering cost me £90 for the rear torsion as it was about a 4 hr job i think. i did the springs myself.
