The PH3 cams if bought from kamracing, do they come with valve springs or are standard ones acceptable? And can the car be driven for say 1k miles, (to run an engine in for example) without a re-map?
Cheers.

It can be driven for as long as you want without a map, but it will be lumpy, not very good in heavy traffic and wont give you as much power as they could.
All round drivability will be reduced, but no harm will really come from it

Standards valve springs are fine. Can run them forever without a remap, just will never get the best out of them.

Might be worth you getting the car rolling roaded to check the air/fuel throughout the revs though. A run will be about £45
