wheel sizes!?

   at the moment i have a normal set of saxo steels (165/70 r 13) and i want to upgrade to a set of 195/ 55 r 15 obviously they are bigger so my speedo will be out how would i work out what size tyre i need to make it a low profile so that its the same overhall hight as standard?

   you speedo will only be out by 1 - 2 mph i had a set of 15's and put 17s on and the speedo then matched up perfect with the sat nav lol

   would you say it would look better 15s with low profile to make the alloys look bigger? lol

   TBH i think it would look with 15's yeah sur eyoucan go for low profile tyres but i like big chunky eens lol each to their own i suppose lol

   the width of the wheels doesnt affect the speedo readings at all
   
   its the circumference that does. with the 15inch wheels the profile is less than the profile of the 13inch wheels therefore the overall circumferance wont differ too much
   
   i would also recommend you to use 195/45 15 as they are the best suited to the saxo for scurbbing and speedo reasons
