How the hell does it fit? where does it fit? ive been under the car found the hooked shape rod that comes from the gearstick, the hook rod goes to a cylinder with a half inch diameter ball end inside. - doesnt look like anything ive seen on the pictures in the searchs Ive done.

Kamracing site says itl fit any model saxo though? need a guide tbh im completely lost!

just finished it now - essentially thats all the "quickshift" kit is isnt it, it just sets a bigger distance between the long linkage rod end and the plate that moves it.

Ive got the stainless linkage rods from kamracing aswell and Im quite impressed with the feel of it now feels toight like tiger

I love my quickshift, think it makes a fair bit of difference front to back gear changing wise and just gives a better feel

Na now Im confused... is that all you had to do to fit that one? I didnt have anything for inside the car or the base of the gearstick - thats all it is for the compbrake one?

ye thats all mine is with out anything between the linkages

The compbrake one works by removing the ball joint, so you can adjust the pivot point of the lever, shortening it. Its not ideal as the grub screws do not always grip well and some people have had issues. As we want to only sell products which work well we have stopped selling this.
The Baker version is far more simple, extending the pivot arm in the enginebay. Its not adjustable but its far more robust.

I will work on a how to guide based on the baker then seeing as I couldnt find one and had to spend an hour workin it out myself whilst pullin all the gearstick inside the car apart before realising it was under the car i needed to go....
