#2thats the only thing i can think of mate. use a small drill bit first, and then get abit bigger, trying not to ruin the thread so you can still put a bolt in afterwards.
-
#3thats the another thing though the bolt is gonna be on pretty tight so what can i use to turn it?
-
#4do you know anyone who could weld a socket on the stud ?
or if your lucky you can hammer a socket onto the bolt (needs to be a tight fit)
sometimes it works. -
#5You need to get some good drill bits and an extractor set. If i was you i would find a garage or a little engineering company and ask them to do it for you.

#6+1 extractor sets rarely work on this kinda thing, lets face it, the bolt was tight enough to snap the bolt in the 1st placeQuote:You need to get some good drill bits and an extractor set. If i was you i would find a garage or a little engineering company and ask them to do it for you.

#7Try the pikey method, tighten the other 3 bolts nice and tight, the get a cheap socket which is a bit too small and hammer it onto the locking nut. Use this as a last resort really.

#10Can you get a picture of the locking nut please.
It does sound like you can hammer an 18mm socket onto the bolt and unto that way. -
#11Looking back at it, you have merely broken the groove etc that the locking key goes into ie the head of the bolt is still intact? If this is the case just take it to a tyre cetnre (non branded) and they will pop it out in a second or can get a removal tool from halfords but this isn't great
