car not starting?? :(

   hi, my car wouldnt start the other day, there is plenty of petrol in it and ive checked the battery and its full charged, but when i start the car it sounds like its flat. could it be the starter motor?

   Have you tried jump starting it? How did you test the batt?

   Could be anything bud!! check your battery leads..........

   almost definately the starter, get it jumped and check the output from the alternator and battery to rule them out.
   sometimes the starter can stick when it gets really cold, give it a whack and it can free it then try starting it again. a bit pikey i know but if it works lol...

   use a multimeter and rule out the battery and alternator. Replace the starter

   mine did exaclty that the other day. i got in started the car and it wouldnt turn over fully - very slow as if the battery was flat.
   i bought a portable powerpack - connected it up straight from the shop without charging and the car fired up as normal.
   i idled the car for about 5 mins - then restarted the car using its own battery with no probs was -4 at the time too lol
