    I was gonna do mine aswell. how is that little yellow clip attached to the oil breather removed? Ive tried pushing it down twisting but still wont budge lol

    lol i havent looked yet
    just wondering if it was possible and how to do it, do u know how?

    Piece of piss lads, just undo the 2 bolts,unclip the breather hose by squeezing in the yellow clips and pulling off. When you lift the cover off be carefull not to loose the two metal shim spacers underneath the plate! Then take off the old rubber gasket and chuck, sand down and prime and paint. Refit a NEW gasket and replace.

    i apply atleast 3 coats of primer, 3 of paint and 3 of lacquer, leaving 15-30mins between each coat, then once done leave for a day to fully dry/harden and stick it on the car.

    i went from this ;

    to this ;

    huge improvement i think, and is cheap to do

    Agree with the above.

    But you can do it yourself, just sand it down and prime it then spray it. But the above gives a much better finish imo and is longer lasting.

    no mate, any paint is good

    i just used regular halfords rattle cans and have had no problems at all

    although im guessing for the manifold cover it'd get fairly hotter so id use high temp paint when doing that
